This page has all the relevant information for aikidoka who want to take a (advanced) exam at Isshinkai: exam dates, preparatory trainings and the applicable regulations.
Within Isshinkai there are two exam opportunities per year: every second Sunday of June and every second Sunday of December.
Discuss exactly when you'll take your exam and how to register with your (head) teacher and/or dojo-cho. It helps to have a rough exam date early on, so you can train with focus, prepare properly and work towards the exam.
Registering in advance is mandatory in order to take part. You can read more about this in the regulations.
Every year, four preparatory dan-exam trainings are organised. On these days there's an open training for everyone and a closed training for invited exam candidates. Below you'll find all the details on location, dates and times.
You can only take part in exams and exam trainings if you meet the requirements set out in the regulations. Always discuss this with your own (head) teacher and/or dojo-cho beforehand. Registration also goes through your (head) teacher and/or dojo-cho.
